I had a super day yesterday, and well, I had to be outside since the weather was so amazing! I have to confess that after my walk, the gazebo was calling my name, and it'll be just for a minute while I have my snack. Alas, that didn't happen. I fell asleep, lulled by the wind in the trees and the wind chimes.

Hwy 93; northerly on U. Burro Creek runs down the middle of the GMU, between the mesas. The elevation of the district runs from about 1, at the southern end to 7,feet at the top of Mount Hope. The lower elevations consist of Sonoran Desert Scrub. The interior portion of the GMU is a mosaic of varied vegetation types including semi-desert grassland, interior chaparral, madrean evergreen woodlands, pinyon-juniper woodland, and isolated ponderosa stands. Canyons and drainages provide several well-developed riparian communities of cottonwood, willow, sycamore, ash, and walnut. The northern portion of the district consists of a checkerboard of private and state land.
